again = a gain

It is the time to wrap up this year and to prepare for the next year.

On 28th, I had the end-year get-together in my department. There, all members of the department had a chance to give a brief speech on this year. Some thanked to others who gave helps. Some wished luck and health. Some just said what they found on the internet.

What I did was, I think, quite witty.

After giving his comment, Mr. Kim, who used to walked up a mountain together, appointed me.

In my turn, I said, "Again, it is the time to wrap up a year and prepare for the next year. As I came to this end-year get-together, the word, 'again' came up to my mind. The word, 'again' can be turned to the other words, 'a gain'. Since I joined my company, I have had some things done well and other things regretful. I would look back those things once AGAIN. From that I wish I would have A GAIN in the next year."

After finishing dinner, I went to pub. We had a chance to listened to the music, "Again again" by 2PM who is a famous singer group in Korea. One of my boss asked us that who gave a speech about "again"? My colleague answered it was me.
